About The Original Room
This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Lara Beitz
Upon discovering stand-up comedy, Lara Beitz proved to be a natural, winning Milwaukee's Funniest Comic in 2012. Earlier this year, she made her national TV debut on Fox's Laughs. She has performed at every comedy club in Chicago, is a regular at The Comedy Bar, and has performed sketch comedy with world famous The Second City. She has participated in SketchFest, The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, the Memphis Comedy Festival, and The Chicago Women's Funny Festival, and will be featured in the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival in New York City this May and Midwest Fest in June. Lara is also a producer of Stand Up Stand Up and her stand-up is featured on RooftopComedy.com, Pandora, Spotify, and Amazon.
Fahim Anwar
Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, actor and writer. Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a Most Promising Future Star. He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Fahim served as head writer and starred on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW. Off the success of the sketch show special, Fahim was named by Variety Magazine as one of 2019 Comics to Watch, and was invited to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast as well as WTF with Marc Maron.

He’s had recent roles in the films JOKER, SPENCER CONFIDENTIAL, SWORD OF TRUST, STARDUST, the 2021 Aretha Franklin biopic, RESPECT, alongside Jennifer Hudson and Dreamworks animated feature THE BAD GUYS co-starring Sam Rockwell.nnMarc’s stand-up special “MORE LATER” (2015) aired on Epix and his specials “THINKY PAIN” (2013), “TOO REAL (2017) and 2020’s “END TIMES FUN, which was nominated for a 2021 Critics’ Choice Award, are currently streaming on Netflix. Marc is the author of The Jerusalem Syndrome: My Life as a Reluctant Messiah and Attempting Normal.
Bobby Lee
Bobby is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster. From 2001 to 2009, Lee was a cast member on MADtv, and he co-starred in the ABC single-camera sitcom series Splitting Up Together alongside Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson between 2018 and 2019. Lee has also appeared in the films Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004), Pineapple Express (2008), and The Dictator (2012). He had a guest appearance as the cynical, burned-out Dr. Kang on FX on Hulu’s TV comedy series Reservation Dogs. Lee co-hosts the podcast TigerBelly with Khalyla Kuhn; he is also co-host of the podcast Bad Friends with Andrew Santino.
Tom Papa
With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage. Amir is best known for his stand-up comedy, but is also an accomplished actor. He won a SAG award for his role in the Oscar winning film Argo and recently starred in The FOX feature film The Pyramid opposite Denis O’Hare and Ashley Grace.nnAmir can be seen live headlining comedy clubs and theaters all over the U.S. as well as internationally.
George Perez
The new and exciting face of comedy is George Perez. Growing up in the mean streets of Orange County George knew he was destined to make people laugh since the early age of 13 years old; performing for his family and now performing at the top comedy circuits across the nation. Along with being one of the brightest and hilarious comics around George is an accomplished actor screenwriter and proud father of four children.nnEvolving Hollywood.com calls George Perez “the freshest face in comedy with a comedic range that can compete with the best of them.” (2014). George uses his own life experiences as his anecdote to every joke. His poise and familiarity with growing up in the streets becoming a young father and tearing down every stereotype has evolved George as a fresh comic making light of his tragedies and growth. It also allows the audience to relate to him on multiple levels; allowing him to cross over with all audiences through original storytelling and authenticity.nnGeorge Perez has appeared on numerous television shows such as Comedy Central SHOWTIME PAYASO COMEDY SLAM LATV Live Loco Comedy Jam Mind of Mencia Master P’s Black Superman and starred in three episodes of MTV's Yo Momma where he got to use his sly wit and quick thinking to win his episode. After working with Wilmer Valderama he was asked to return for the Best of LA episode as a final competitor with MTV’s highest ratings. Ramsey Badawi
Ramsey Badawi is a Los Angeles–based stand-up comedian. He’s a regular at Los Angeles comedy clubs and a nationally touring comedian. His set on the Don’t Tell Comedy YouTube series has acquired millions of views—if you count clips, which Ramsey thinks you should definitely count.nThe son of working-class war refugees, Ramsey grew up between East Jerusalem and Orange County, California. Before comedy, he toured the country playing in hardcore and emo bands, then made an unlikely pivot to working as a policy aide in the California State Legislature. The result is an unusually specific mix of perspective, high intellect, and scumbaggery in his work.nHe’s also written for projects on Netflix and Comedy Central and acted in some stuff, but honestly—who cares. Just go see him live.
Zack Chapaloni
Zack’s distinctly original stories, filled with colorful characters and unexpected punchlines, have resonated with audiences of all backgrounds. As a storyteller, Zack shared one of his Moroccan family adventures on MTV’s Greatest Party Story Ever. As an actor, Zack has appeared in the Showtime series Shameless, as well as Night of the Living Karens, a viral comedy-horror series he created with comedian Richard Sarvate. Zack has performed standup comedy all over the country, and opened for some legendary names in the industry, including Tiffany Haddish, Dave Attell and the late great Norm Macdonald. You can catch Zack every week on Hesby Street, a comedy podcast he co-hosts with comedian Torio Van Grol.
