Harp Day

VCU Music is excited to host the first ever VCU Harp Day! This exciting event is sponsored by the Virginia Harp Center and will feature acclaimed voice-and-electric harp duo Addi&Jacq, who will perform a concert of original songs and also offer innovative workshops suitable for all VCU harp day participants.

COST: $40 registration before April 30 / $55 registration after April 30

• VCU Harp Day will include:
  Workshops with Addi&Jacq on topics ranging from songwriting, chamber music collaboration, and electroacoustics and looping


• Harp ensemble rehearsals and mini-performance for beginning, intermediate, and advanced harp students (adults welcome too!)


• Master class with VCU harp professor Dr. Colleen Thorburn


• Harp care 101 with members of the Virginia Harp Center


• Exclusive shopping opportunities with VA Harp Center

All participants will also receive a special event T-shirt included in the cost of registration. Participants must bring their own harp unless they register as auditors only.

Tickets to the Addi&Jacq concert (May 20, 5 p.m.): Are included in the cost of registration for VCU Harp Day. Anyone wishing to attend the concert only, but not the day-long event, can purchase tickets separately for $10.
