What goes boo-k in the night? Your best literary-inspired costume, that’s what! At the annual NYPL Halloween costume parade, come dressed to impress in your best look inspired by a beloved book, poem, character, or writer. Our judges—fashion mentor Tim Gunn and NYPL librarians—will decide who wears it best. With music by Rimarkable.

Join us at any point between 5:30-8:30 PM. The costume parade will begin at about 6:30 PM.

Tim Gunn beloved pop culture icon and New York Times bestselling author, is best known as the Emmy Award–winning host of Project Runway. He also hosted two seasons of his own Bravo makeover series, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, and was the host of the reality TV series Under the Gunn. He currently hosts Making The Cut with Heidi Klum on Amazon.
