Join Gov. Bill Haslam and TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe in Nashville, Tennessee along with hundreds of state and local officials, business executives and economic development professionals to learn more about Tennessee’s strides in recruiting jobs and the programs helping to build strong local communities.


This year the annual Governor’s Conference will be held from November 1 – 2, 2018 at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in the Nashville.


Online ticket sales are credit card only. If you want to pay with check, please pay at the door. On-site registration will be $300 for Full Conference and $150 for each luncheon. This can be made by credit card or check. Checks should be made out to "TNECD."


When purchasing an online ticket, it will appear as "SCX*Governor's Conference 2018” on your credit card statement. You will also receive an email confirmation confirming your purchase. Refunds will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances. If there are any questions regarding refunds, please reach out to Carly.Schroer@tn.gov.

  • Admittance to the opening night reception featuring Faith Hill


*A full conference badge is required to attend the opening night reception. If you do not have a full conference badge, you will not be admitted.


Lunch Only: $150


If you have NOT purchased Full Conference Registration, you may buy a separate ticket for either the Governor's Luncheon on Thursday, November 1, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. CDT or the Commissioner’s Luncheon on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. CDT. If you would like to attend the luncheons only on both days, you must buy a separate ticket for each day. Luncheon Only tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and quantities are limited.


Please be aware that the Governor’s Luncheon and Commissioner’s Luncheon are on different days than previous year’s luncheons. The Governor’s Luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 1 and the Commissioner’s Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 2.


Exhibitors: $525


Booths are available in the Governor's Conference Exhibit Hall for $525 per 6'x10' space. If your sponsorship level includes a booth, there is no need to purchase a booth separately.


The Exhibitor Fee includes:



  • Electricity

  • One table

  • Two chairs

  • Wastebasket

  • One-line identification sign and listing in the official conference agenda


Please note: Exhibitor space is extremely limited this year and the dimensions are fixed. Don't miss the opportunity to participate and reserve your space today. We will gladly provide as many Exhibitor badges as needed to staff a booth. However, unless you have purchased one of the other registration options, exhibitor only badges do not provide admittance to conference activities, including luncheons.


The last day to register online for Governor’s Conference is October 15, 2018, after this you will have to purchase your ticket at the door.
