Event Description

For children of all ages plus an adult


Celebrate the end of the fall season and say goodnight to the Children’s Garden! This is a one-time program for kids of all ages and their families. Join educators at activity stations to create fall nature crafts, water plants, use a cider press, play garden games, visit a pretend petting zoo, and more. Costumes are encouraged.


Programs take place rain or shine. Please note this is not a gardening class.


One child-adult pair must register to participate together. Up to three children or adults may be added.

Fees



  • Adult + Child pair: $35

  • Additional Child or Adult (up to 3; 5 total): $22

  • For member rates, provide your BBG membership number on checkout, or, purchase a membership with your registration.


Guidelines



  • Registration includes access to the Garden before and after the program; see bbg.org/visit to confirm hours. Show your ticket on entrance.

  • Look for an email with program guidelines the day before your visit. 

  • There are no refunds.


Entrances


We recommend using the 455 Flatbush entrance, which is a short walk to the Children’s Garden. There are also entrances at 150 Eastern Parkway and 990 Washington Avenue.


Nearest Subways



  • B/Q/S to Prospect Park for 455 Flatbush Avenue entrance (no B train on weekends)

  • 2/3 to Eastern Parkway—Brooklyn Museum for 150 Eastern Parkway and 990 Washington Avenue entrances

  • 4/5 to Franklin Avenue (no elevator) for 990 Washington Avenue and 150 Eastern Parkway entrances




Program participants must present ticket for entrance. Registrations are nonrefundable.
