A brilliant young player of the five-stringed Spanish timple, Germán López honors the folk traditions of his native Canary Islands alongside flamenco, West African rhythm, jazz, and a 21st-century approach to performing “island music.” He appears with guitarist Antonio Toledo to present Canela y Limón.
