TICKET & EXPERIENCE FAQ

LOCATION. FUNBOX is located in The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks just off the 101 Freeway & Lynn Road. You can find us by following signs for Nordstrom to park on the Eastern side of the mall and then looking for us inside on the 2nd floor. We are on the 2nd level near Lush and across from Anthropologie, but if you find Starbucks on the first floor we are right up the escalator!

I’M LATE…NO WORRIES! Traffic can be a headache. We will happily accommodate your entry, however we must honor those who arrived during their designated time slot first. All that means is you’ll get a little more time to hang out with us at the front door. Aren’t you lucky?

DOOR SALES? While FUNBOX tickets are often sold out in advance, we love selling tickets at the door whenever possible! Door tickets may have varying wait times, however, as we will honor the timed entry of any patrons who arrive with a pre-purchased ticket from our website first.

NO SHOWS. Because FUNBOX is a high demand event that features limited timed entry, we cannot offer refunds. However, we will happily honor your ticket/s if you’d like to come back on a weekday that does not fall on a holiday! Who says you can’t party on a Tuesday?

HOW LONG DOES THE FUNBOX EXPERIENCE TAKE? While the average patron takes 45-60 minutes, that truly depends on you! The vast majority of our rooms and photo opportunities do not have a time limit. However, FUNBOX is a forward moving experience— meaning that once you move along to the next area you cannot go back. Take as many photos and have as much fun as you want, then move along when you decide you are good and ready. There are two timed experiences, one of which is 1 minute for 4 people at a time, and the other is our interactive finale in which each group that enters gets to play for 5 minutes.

WHAT ABOUT MY STUFF? While we do not allow outside food or drinks inside of FUNBOX, we like to treat our guests like the royalty they are. We have a VIP Drink Valet right at the front door where you can leave your drinks while you go play— and as tempting as your latte looks, we promise to give it back. We’ll even let you leave your stroller at our VIP Stroller Parking area.

RULES For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, any children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.

GROUP DISCOUNTS. We do not offer any group discounts. If you are a charitable organization, please feel free to contact us to inquire about organizing a special event.

INFLUENCERS. While FUNBOX is an engaging, interactive experience for children and adults of all ages, we have various art pieces that took thousands of hours to construct. Simply put— our space is not designed to accommodate large birthday parties. We will sometimes host adult events in the form of a complete buyout however, so please contact us via email with details if you would like to inquire about such.

We do not offer free admission— however, we will make exceptions for special circumstances and charitable organizations. If you would like to inquire further, please email us directly the details of your request.
