FREE WORKSHOP: Coaching Improv

Behind every great improv team is a great coach, but learning how to take on this behind-the-scenes role can be mysterious and challenging. This free workshop will give an overview of the role of an improv coach and the skills that will best help the teams you work with; with discussion and exercises that will be valuable both for experienced coaches who want to refresh or improve their skills and for people who are new to coaching and want to learn how to get started. Some of the concepts we'll cover include structuring rehearsals, giving targeted and actionable notes, handling conflict on teams, and improving group dynamic.

This workshop is FREE but registration is required as space is limited.

All participants in Arcade Academy must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and show proof of vaccination when they arrive for their first class.

Open to students age 18+ with all levels of improv and improv coaching experience.
