Freedom Weekend 2023

Freedom Weekend 2023 is an all-inclusive Mindful Improv nature retreat for the soul in need of a dang break. The theme is Cultivating Resilient Optimism and Joy! During the weekend, you'll experience 3 restorative Mindful Improv workshops focused on fortifying our foundation of joy and hope. 

This will be a retreat filled with laughter, reflection, healing silence in nature and opportunities for adventure! Camp Y-Noah is located in Clinton, OH and our retreat will take place during peak leaf season. Come relax and enjoy the beauty of nature while learning skills from mindfulness practice and improvised comedy that will help you:

• Hold the realities of tough situations AND optimism together


• Find sincere joy even in hard times


• Restore your emotional reserves when compassion fatigue has worn you down


• Remember the larger story of hope and restoration, in which we are each invited to participate

Outside of scheduled programming time, your registration fee includes full access to Camp Y-Noah's beautiful sprawling 225 acre campus. You can spend your time hiking, canoeing, attempting the Alpine obstacle climbe, horseback riding or simply finding a quiet spot to reflect, journal, read or sleep!

Your registration fee includes cabin lodging at camp, which is clean, heated, equipped with electricity and located a short walk from the bath house. Participants desiring less rustic accomodations can make use of the hotel block at Cambria Suites just a short 10-minute drive from Camp Y-Noah. 

One ticket is available for a 1:1 mini retreat with me after Freedom Weekend. This includes retreat registration as well as individualized coaching, lunch and a 45-minute focus-finding call ahead of the retreat.
