Late night during the Folkmoot Festival, something magical happens at the Friendship Center. After the last performance of the day and a hearty meal with friends, the volunteers and crew celebrate late into the evening sharing laughs, stories, and fun. It's a party! It's a celebration! It's funny, honest and genuine.
We call it "Folkmoot After Dark!"

Join us for our public debut of "Folkmoot After Dark!" on Thursday, July 25th at the Folkmoot Center. Our theme is "An American Experience" and boy, have we got a night of fun ready for you!

Kicking the show off at 10 p.m. are co-hosts, Asheville legend and drag persona Celeste Starr, accompanied by local media and performance celebrity Heather Hyatt. They'll guide us on our journey through live cover performances including Cullowhee Americana act Ol’ Dirty Bathtub and more! Get ready to tap your foot, laugh, jump up and dance with us as we show you what "Folkmoot After Dark!" is all about.
