Folkmoot 2017 - Hickory, NC

Hosted by the Hickory International Council, Folkmoot is in Hickory for two shows on Sunday, July 23 at 3pm and 6pm.

Folkmoot, a word meaning "meeting of the people," provides communities all over Western North Carolina the opportunity to build a deeper sense of connection, mutual respect and shared purpose by experiencing other cultures.  Dancers from 10 nations around the globe will perform at 34th edition of Folkmoot Festival when it convenes July 20-30 in our beloved Smoky Mountains. Click for information on visiting countries. 

The Drendel SALT Block Auditorium is hosting FOUR GROUPS at 6:00 pm.
