Folk Festival Reunion Party 2015

The Pittsburgh Folk Festival was a major regional highlight for over 50 years, and the Bulgarian Center’s rollicking Saturday night post-Festival party was the most popular event in town. This year we’re hosting our second annual Folk Festival Reunion party that will bring together an assortment of ethnic groups that participated in the Pittsburgh event through the years.

We’re inviting people of all nationalities to come celebrate the many years of camaraderie, memories, great ethnic food, and lively dancing that we all enjoyed at Pittsburgh’s Folk Festival over the years.

Our event will feature:

--Live music performed by various ethnic ensembles
--An array of favorite Folk Festival foods
--Displays of memorabilia from past Folk Festivals
--Cash bar
--Dancing into the wee hours

Music schedule:

--8:00 to 9:00 pm — BMNECC house band
--9:30 to 10:30 pm — Orkestar Zabava
--10:30 to 11:00 pm — Otets Paissii Performing Ensemble
--11:00 pm to 12:00 am — Srpski Sinovi Folk Orchestra
--12:30 to to 1:30 am –  Orkestar Zabava
