The Fits

This lyrical, nearly-perfect debut film follows Toni (Hightower), a young tomboy who becomes increasingly fascinated with a competitive dance troupe that practices at her local rec center. Toni’s decision to join the troupe coincides with mysterious fainting fits that begin to strike the members and she finds herself exposed to more than just the first flush of adolescence.
