Choose between two immersive programs taught in the award-winning Indigenous Peoples Experience.


Program 1: There is Meaning in Everything


Exploring both inside and outside of the Indigenous Peoples Experience, learners will discover how the living natural world is foundational to First Nations and Métis ways of understanding through land-based learning activities. From the indigenous worldview, everything has a purpose, teachings or learning: there is meaning in everything. 


*Please note, topics of residential schools and their continued impact will be discussed in this program.

Program 2: We Have Always Been Here


Discover how culture and values have defined First Nations and Metis ways of knowing while exploring the exhibits at the brand new Indigenous Peoples Experience.

  • All programs are newly designed and curricular-linked, 2 hours long

  • Program focused on Grade 4+ in line with the Curriculum.

  • Programs that are currently available for bookings March (Monday-Friday), April (Monday-Friday), May & June (Monday & Tuesday) do not include General Admissions to Fort Edmonton Park as the Park is closed.
