FHC Speaker Series - Brendan Burke

 Please join the Lightner Museum for an engaging presentation on the history of the local ship-building industry. Historian and archaeologist Brendan Burke, who currently works at the St. Augustine Lighthouse, will be focusing on the development on this unique fishing trawler and how it supplied some of the world’s busiest shipping fleets throughout much of that century. Mr. Burke will give insight to the commercial success of this new shipping vessel and how its impact could be felt throughout Northeast Florida. Light refreshments will be served.
