Event Description

"The shared meal elevates eating from a mechanical process of fueling the body to a ritual of family and community, from the mere animal biology to an act of culture.”
― Michael Pollan, In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto

Food means the world to us, and we'd love to share a meal with you. Please join us for an evening of music, food, drinks, and friends at the Farmer's Fork Dinner Series.

Arrive around 6pm to enjoy a cocktail by Wigle, live local music by Unknown String Band, an appetizer, and the chance to explore the Ferderber's organic farm. Dinner will be served at 7:15pm (listen for the farm bell) in their 125 year old barn. Complimentary local beer by Spring Hill Brewing and wine by Narcisi will be paired with the meal. Stay for dessert and coffee before your drive home, or take the short drive to Saxonburg for charming overnight accommodations at the historical Mainstay or Hotel Saxonburg

Each meal will be prepared by a creative Pittsburgh chef and will feature locally and regionally sourced ingredients. Because these meals are prix fixe and based on seasonal availability, we unfortunately cannot change the menus to reflect all dietary restrictions. Feel free to contact terra@frankferd.com with inquiries as to whether or not a chef can accommodate a specific need.
