Saturday Trick-or-Treat & Roam on Your Own

On Saturday, October 18th, join us for a special family day of Trick or Treating inside of the mansion! This special event will only be happening on Saturday the 18th (not on Sunday). Please bring your own trick or treat bag for this event!

Lyndhurst welcomes visitors to explore on their own, this majestic Gilded Age Mansion during the Autumn season! Timed entries allow guests to take in rarely viewed special collection pieces and spirited decorations while strolling through this breathtaking historic home.

You will see the opulent vestibule and entrance hall, reception room, parlor, library, sumptuous Victorian dining room, and stunning art gallery –  all surrounded by festive Autumnal decorations!  

Lyndhurst Tour guides will be stationed throughout the house to answer questions.

Timed entry tickets are available between  10 am - 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday. 

Geordanes will be on-site to provide food for purchase!

Last entry into the Mansion will be at 4pm.

Important Information, Please Read:

Please be advised that this tour requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs. 

A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 

Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 

Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.

Check-in at the Welcome Center.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket. 

No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.
