Fall Classic Mansion Tour 2021

Tour ticket holders do not need to purchase a Daily Grounds Pass, as tour tickets include grounds access.

Perfect for first-time guests, this one-hour tour covers two floors and treats visitors to a rare glimpse of the lavish decorative arts and furniture left to Lyndhurst by previous owners all while decorated with the splendor of the Fall Season!

The tour, which lasts an hour, visits approximately 16 rooms and involves climbing one staircase. You’ll visit the first floor of the Mansion; including the parlor, filled with furniture designed by architect A.J. Davis, and the sumptuous Civil War-era dining room. The second-floor centers around the opulent Grand Picture Gallery hung with an original collection of European paintings. Impressive Tiffany stained glass windows adorn the gallery and adjacent bedrooms.

As New York State continues to evaluate pandemic-related restrictions, Lyndhurst requires all visitors, ages 2 and older, to provide proof of full Covid vaccination or a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of your event date and continue to wear masks indoors at this time. We will continue to evaluate these policies and make changes in the future, as appropriate.

All visitors must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter the Mansion. A limited number of tickets are available for each tour;  tickets do sell out. 

Please present printed tour tickets and vaccination or test results to our Welcome Center staff when checking in for your tour.

Tours begin promptly at the designated time.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
