2019 Summer: Member Little Explorers Preschool Program

LITTLE EXPLORERS NATURE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Explore nature with your toddler or preschooler! Nature Preschool programs are open to children ages 2-6 with an adult.
Classes include nature walks, stories, songs, and other activities. 
Nature ABCs and 1,2,3s and movement activities are part of the fun.
Choose either 10:30-11:30 am or 12:30-1:30 pm session.

These prices listed below include
the service fee at checkout.
Fees:
Members (Family level and up) $6 per child/adult pair
Fee includes admission to the Gardens and Nature Walk
(April to October) and the Butterfly House (June 17 to September 30).

$24 per member child/adult pair.

Little Birds
Nesting, eating and growing non-stop—spring babies are ready to leave the nest.

Tues., June 11
How Groundhog’s Garden Grew
Would you want to start a garden? Little Groundhog learns about creating his own garden from collecting to planting seeds and then harvesting.

Tues., July 2
Pools, Ponds, and Puddles
We will visit some of Ladew’s ponds to find tadpoles, frogs, and the many insects that have watery homes.

Tues., July 23
The Sounds of Summer
What do you hear? Frogs croaking? Cicadas droning? Bees buzzing? Summer days are filled with all kinds of sounds. You just have to listen!

Nature’s Crayons
Let’s see what we can find in nature to create artwork.

Wed., August 28
Tully the Turtle
Come share time with our Nature Walk mascot and environmental ambassador.  You’ll learn about the life of a box turtle.
