Animal Experiences are held year-round. All tickets are non-refundable.

We are conducting business under COVID-19 phase 2 guidlines. ALL patrons are required to social distance a minimum of 6 feet and frequently hand santize. Masks are optional. Thanks for your cooperation.

Guided walk

You’ll view camels, Eurasian Lynx, free-flying macaws, servals, eagle owls, and more. You’ll be walking for this experience, so please dress appropriately for Louisiana’s hot and humid weather. Our facility does not currently sell food or drinks, though you are encouraged to bring picnic lunches and bottles of water. Our guided walks are highly educational. We do not allow guests to walk around unattended, as our exhibits are designed for guide supervision.


Ambassador Encounters

The encounter section of our experience is loads of fun. Visitors are guaranteed to meet kangaroo joeys in our nursery and hold sloths in their lap. Sloths are placed on guests lap, on a pillow. Sloths are very comfortable in this setting. We do not allow anyone to hold sloths off of their pillow or perch. Encounter experiences also include interactions with other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. These surprise encounters are always changing and are updated on a weekly basis.
