Francisco Ramos
Francisco Ramos is a Venezuelan-born stand-up comedian and actor known for his high-energy storytelling and sharp cultural perspective. He was a Top 10 finalist on Last Comic Standing and has appeared on Shameless, Gentefied, and This Fool. He also voiced the monkey in the animated hit Rio and stars in the feature film The Unexpecteds, executive-produced by Kevin Smith, now streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
Beyond stand-up, Francisco is an accomplished writer and director. He sold, directed, and co-wrote the short film Zoo Animals to HBO, further showcasing his voice as a storyteller across platforms.
His previous stand-up special, Venezuela’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett, highlighted his ability to blend personal stories with sharp observations about culture, family, and identity.
His new stand-up special, Still Learning, will be released later this year, capturing his evolution as both a comedian and a man navigating relationships, growth, and the absurdity of adulthood.
Francisco continues to tour nationally, performing in both English and Spanish, connecting with audiences through his honesty, charisma, and unmistakable energy.
Daniela Calvo
Daniela Inés Calvo is a bilingual standup comedian based in Los Ángeles, raised in Miami & Argentina. She began standup at 19 and has opened for stars like Angelo Colina, Poly Díaz, and Chris Andrade.
She’s known for igniting the scene for standup en Español in Los Ángeles. In April 2024, she created No Hablo Inglés, the first Español showcase in the city, and sold out 4 consecutive monthly shows in local theaters. Since Sep 2024, she's teamed up with Francisco Ramos to produce 10+ showcases en Español at The Comedy Store – The Belly Room. In Oct 2025, she made history as the first to produce and headline a standup en Español showcase at The World Famous Comedy Store – The Main Room. Past featured comedians include Cristela Alonzo, Jesús Trejo, and José “Hoozay” Velasquez.
Although she's focused on producing Español shows, Daniela has also sold out her English show at The Belly Room in March 2025 and January 2026. She regularly performs in both languages across LA, and was featured in LALIFF 2025 in their first Latino Comedy Showcase.

About The Original Room
This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Francisco Ramos can be seen on Netflix’s “Gentefied” and Hulu’s “This Fool” and wrapped his first feature film “The Unexpecteds” along Matt Walsh from “Veep”. He directed, co-wrote and starred in his debut comedy short “Zoo Animals”, which was acquired by MAX to stream on their platform. He also shot a standup special “Entre Nos” for MAX. He was part of the first ever Netflix is a Joke Festival held in Los Angeles. He was a top-ten finalist on Last Comic Standing and has appeared in Showtime’s “Shameless,” as well other appearances in !Angie Tribeca” from Steve Carell, Netflix’s “Lady Dynamite”, and voicing the role of Marmoset in the animated film “RIO” and part of Cartoon Network show “Victor and Valentino”. He has also appeared on the hilarious @midnight on Comedy Central and several times on Jimmy Kimmel Live. nnFrancisco was part of Lorne Michael’s “Mas Mejor”, where he has written, directed and performed several sketches for them. His debut album “Vayalo” has been exclusively playing on Sirius XM and has been a top 5 album on the Billboard Comedy Charts.nnEarly in his career, Francisco was selected to perform in the CBS Multicultural Diversity Showcase, where he was one of 12 selected from a pool of 5,000 applicants. Having won first place in the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival sponsored by NBC/COZI TV, American Latino produced a documentary on Francisco about his rise as a comic for Latino Out Loud (LOL).
