Emerging Jazz Artist Series: Soojin Park

The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall and the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra launch an exciting new collaboration spotlighting rising stars alongside some of Pittsburgh’s most accomplished jazz musicians. This multi-generational series celebrates the city’s rich jazz heritage while showcasing fresh voices shaping its future.

Our first featured artist in this series is drummer Soojin Park, originally from South Korea. She studied at Berklee College of Music and Duquesne University under jazz greats Bob Gullotti and Thomas Wendt, and has performed with Pittsburgh legends Mike Tomaro, Dwayne Dolphin, and Marty Ashby. In this concert, Park appears in The Studio, our intimate performance space, alongside members of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra—an ensemble dedicated to performing the broad scope of jazz styles and honoring Pittsburgh’s enduring legacy as a jazz hub.

Beer and wine by donation. Outside alcohol/BYOB is not permitted.
Doors open at 2:30 pm || Concert begins at 3:00 pm
