A HAPPENING: BESTIARY
Presented by Eggtooth and Cloudgaze Productions
An Immersive Festival featuring local musicians, actors, dancers, fabricators, and more! Now in its 5th year, "A HAPPENING" transforms the Shea Theater into a theatrical playground where audience traverse dimly lit halls and unearth ancient secrets.
Note - this year's performance is rated PG13.

The Cloudgazers were not the first to discover the way in through the portal...maybe it has always been open in the first place...
But, after careful consideration, they have decided to share their findings…
It happens most often when the veil is thin - when the firmament descends and as things are above, so are those below. Your eyes attune and the surrounding dark becomes acutely bright.

From the Belly of a Whale, to a Metamorphic Empire, the Cloudgazers transform the Shea Theater Arts Center into explorable theatrical spaces and invite you to mingle with it’s inhabitants.
This year, you are asked to step into the beyond - away from your sense of time…a journey to the future - into a world derived from the spell of a Sorcerer, where Beasts are granted consciousness.
The world ABOVE (Free Range Manor) values civility, opportunity, and ingenuity.
While there remains deference for the past, those in power wield the hopes of their future amongst an inevitable demise.
They embrace hierarchy.
The world BELOW (Feral Forest) values authenticity, tradition, and malleability.
Their history is ancient and deep, the communities are fluid and fiercely loyal.
They embrace decay.
What mysteries may unlock themselves? Explore, mingle, and unravel the magic that lies within...
