Join Heather Acs and the NYC Drag March for a storytelling workshop, and share your own experiences of LGBTQ life in the Village and LES. Reflect on your adventures in LGBTQ nightlife, art, activism and love, and develop the skills to share your stories publicly.
The NYC Drag March is building an archive of stories and memorabilia. This workshop is the first in a series to help collect stories about the Drag March, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Those who remember the Drag March are encouraged to bring photos, t-shirts, flyers and other memorabilia to scan and document the event.
All are welcome to develop their own story about LGBTQ life in NYC.
