While John Van Hamersveld was creating album covers for the counterculture movement of the ’60s and ’70s, many started to embrace vegetarianism. Pioneering that movement was Frances Moore Lappé who wrote the bestselling cook book, Diet for a Small Planet, which explored not only healthy eating, but the environmental and economic impact of food production and its contributing role to world hunger.
The Westmoreland invites you to a unique vegetarian (or vegan if you prefer) culinary experience that blends conversation with Moore Lappé and food inspired by her recipes, prepared by Chef Taylor Kalasky of Yumzio Bistro.
At the check-out step, please indicate (for each ticket holder) which dinner option is preferred -- either vegetarian or vegan. Thank you!
