DCF Stand-Up: Tuesday 9PM

#2020DCF is here! This is the first stand-up show of the 2020 Dallas Comedy Festival! It features local Dallas comics: Jon Minjoe , T.V. Corrales, Marissa Nieto, Hannah Howard, Wes Corwin, Brandon Davidson, Micah Sharman, Tom Davenport, Tyler Simpson!

This show is at Dallas Comedy House, which has a full restaurant and bar that you can order from during the show. Hang out on the beautiful DCH patio before or after the show.

Seating begins 30 minutes before the show. All ticket sales are final.

T.V. Corrales

T.V. Corrales answers the age old question, What do Pre-K teachers do at night? Based out of Dallas, TX, Corrales uses his irreverent grounded surrealism and 2006 TIME Person of the Year award to earn opportunities to perform all around the country. You can catch him most weekends at The Backdoor Comedy Club or check out his album, Rebel Without Applause: Live from Texas on Apple Music/Spotify/etc. When he's not using his art to make strangers laugh at the clubs he's using his rubik's cube to hustle strangers at the bar.n

Marissa Nieto

Marissa Nieto is comedian based in Dallas, TX with her husband, 8.5 pound pup and the disappointment of her childhood Beanie Babies still being worthless. She has notably performed at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago and the Plano Comedy Festival. Her comedy is described as a mix of high energy and clever word play. She currently produces a stand up show called All The Feels.n

Jon Minjoe

The world is a crazy, tough place, and Jon Minjoe is here to talk about being totally unprepared to handle it.nnHis outlook is pessimistic, his self-esteem is non-existent, and his depression is palpable. nnMinjoe is always his own punchline, and his brand of humor is sure to have you laughing...or at least feeling much, much better about you own life.n

Hannah Howard

Being a local comic for almost two years, Hannah Howard shares stories of motherhood, marriage, getting fired from a church, and the other life lessons she has learned along the way. nNearing the age of 32, dying her hair pink is the only thing proving she is still a millennial.n

Wes Corwin

Wes Corwin is pure nervous energy act human. He's been featured on Cracked & Funny or Die. He's opened for Aparna Nancherla, Godfrey and Kurt Braunohler. In 2018, Wes was awarded Best Comedian in Dallas by the Dallas Observer and won the Improv’s Funniest Comedian in Texas contest.n

Brandon Davidson

Brandon Davidson is a stand-up comedian from Arkansas now living in Texas. Brandon’s comedy is based on his experience as a father, husband and recovering redneck. He's a regular in clubs, casinos, and colleges across the South. He believes that the movie Roadhouse is criminally underrated. He’s opened for the Sklar Brothers, Jimmy Pardo, Chris Fairbanks, Fortune Feimster, and Joe DeRosa. His first comedy special “Dad Jokes” is coming to Amazon Prime this Spring.n

Micah Sharman

Micah Sharman combines his desire to make people laugh with his musical ability to perform stand-up comedy with song. Micah writes and performs his jokes and songs for audiences of most ages. Much of his comedy comes from everyday life: from stories about growing up to love gone wrong. Micah is a guitarist with memorable songs that’ll stick long after the show.n
