DCF Improv: Monthly Junk/Partners/Manick

The Monthly Junk started in 2013, as Sarah Adams and Maggie Rieth Austin sat in front of an old couch in the Dallas Comedy House lobby and laughed and laughed at how hilarious they were. Before too long, they put up a camera and filmed some bits. Ever since that day, they have been making each other laugh on and off camera.nAs a duo, The Monthly Junk has written, produced, and performed in sketch comedy both on screen and on the stage. They can also be seen performing their improvised show, The Monthly Junk, at the Dallas Comedy House and comedy festivals across the country.n

Partners in Time started because of our desire to see long form improv scenes performed in various time periods. We enjoy exploring character relationships with the added complications of dinosaurs, angry Victorian mobs, and pre-Renaissance country hippies.n
