Daniela Inés Calvo is a bilingual standup comedian based in Los Ángeles, raised in Miami & Argentina. She began standup at 19 and has opened for Angelo Colina, Poly Díaz, and Chris Andrade.

 

She’s known for creating the scene for standup en Español in Los Angeles. In Oct 2025, she made history as the first to produce and headline a standup en Español showcase at The World Famous Comedy Store – The Main Room. This came after 1 year of monthly Español shows at the same venue, in The Belly Room. Her co-producer at The Comedy Store is Francisco Ramos and past featured comedians include Cristela Alonzo, Jesús Trejo, and José “Hoozay” Velasquez.

Although she's focused on producing Español shows, Daniela actually started out performing standup in English. This January 2026, she's back with an all-new set, her first time performing in English since her sold out Belly Room show in March 2025!

With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.  

What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.


About The Belly Room


Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.


Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.
