Quintet Bio: The Dan Montgomery Quintet is a group of five close friends who have been making music together for over a decade. The band includes Sam Priven (alto sax), Neil Carson (tenor sax), Jake Shapiro (piano), Evan Hyde (drums), and is led by Dan (bass). They've recorded several albums and performed all across the United States since the group officially formed in 2016. They perform exclusively Dan's music, which is rooted in the traditions of jazz, folk and rock music. Dan's music covers a wide range of emotions, consisting of pensive, singable ballads, high-energy, anthemic epics, and creative reimaginings of popular songs by Stevie Wonder, Kansas, Rush and more. They're thrilled to be making their debut at The Cave, and will be sure to leave the audience wanting more!
