What to Expect

We are excited to welcome Moorpark Cornerstone youth ministry to Poverty Encounter!  Journey into the lives of children living in poverty around the globe in a multi-sensory, interactive environment. Hear their stories, explore their world, and share their dreams.  Learn to respond biblically, take action to make a difference, and offer help and hope to those who are suffering.

Tuesday, April 2nd 5:45 - 8:45pm: Refuge High School Ministry

Thursday, April 4th 5:45 - 8:45pm: Revive Middle School Ministry (note: the middle school youth group will not be meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd in leiu of this event)

5:45pm Meet at Cornerstone

6:00pm Depart Cornerstone - do not be late!

6:30pm Arrive at Children's Hunger Fund [13931 Balboa Blvd, Sylmar, 91342]

6:30pm - 8:15pm: Poverty Encounter tour and volunteer food packing activity

8:15pm Depart CHF

8:45pm Arrive at Cornerstone Moorpark
