Due to new restrictions set by the AHS and Province of Alberta – The Comic Strip has had to cease operations until Dec.15, 2020. We have did our best to make sure that our patrons and staff were following all rules set by AHS and the Province and are proud to say that no known postive results have come from our establishment. Unfortunately the AHS decides on who can stay open during these new restrictions. Theatres are allowed to be in operation with the new restricitons, which we are but since we have live entertainement for some reason we are an unsafe enviorment. 

We know how stressful these uncertain times are for everyone and we were hoping to continue to bring you the laughs. We understand humour helps to ease the pain and wanted nothing more than to be your piece of comedic escapism. Unfortunately, with the uncertainty of COVID-19 – continuing with performances will not be possible.

AHS will re-evaluate there restrctions in December and we will continue to take our lead from Local, Provincial and Federal Officials along with the W.H.O. and C.D.C. We value our customers and feel that this decision is in the publics best interest.

Any guests with ticket during this time will be issued a credit that they can use on any performance in the future. Please feel free to email us directly if you have any questions or concerns – however please be patient for a response as we sort through the volume of inquiries.
