Come As You Are: Pittsburgh Rainbow History Tour
DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh presents the first-ever, city-wide tour that will enlighten, provoke, inform, inspire, educate, stimulate, and begin to tell the evolving story of Pittsburgh’s “rainbow” history.
Pittsburgh’s queer community expresses, prays, survives and advocates. These themes will be the focus of the tour, as we celebrate the diversity of an intersectional and multi-faceted community.
Join us as we offer a respectful and mindful peek into Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ+ heritage by offering access to some of the most notable buildings, folklore and historical perspective.
Places Visited Include: Shepherd Wellness Community, First Unitarian, Rodef Shalom, and the Ace Hotel.
