This bright version of the classic children's fairy tale has all the charm of the orginal story and all of the familiar characters: Cinderella and her stepsisters, the mean stepmother, the Fairy Godmother and of course the handsome prince.  But Porter and Perry have added extra charm to their verison. Simple, spry musical numbers add sparkle...and Cinderella has acquired a faithful dog, Rover, who is given the power of speech by the Fairy Godmother.
