Branding Yourself as an Artist on Social Media

With Jenie Dahlmann

In today's digital age, when social media is the easiest and often best way to share your work, it’s more important than ever to know how to communicate the heart of your artistic brand in order to connect with your target audience. Jenie Dahlmann, a digital communications expert, will guide you through exercises to create a succinct vision statement and develop an engaging and consistent profile for social media. Learn how to magnify your artistic brand across digital media channels and harness your audience's interest in instant imagery to your advantage.

Jenie DahlmannPresenter: Jenie Dahlmann recently leveraged her twenty-plus year career in marketing and communications to launch her San Diego-based consulting firm, Idealchemy. Idealchemy helps purpose-driven organizations and companies share their stories through traditional and transformational digital communication strategies. As the Vice President of Communications and Engagement for the $45M Interlochen Center for the Arts, Jenie led a digital content transformation that brought the remotely located arts organization back into the international spotlight. As part of the leadership team, she oversaw 40 employees in Marketing and Communications, two public radio services, Interlochen's continuing education program, and Information Technology.
