Internet and Social Media Legal Issues for Artists and Business Owners

Addressing a constantly evolving topic, this timely class will examine hot, new legal issues arising from the use of online social media.  Attendees will learn how to advise clients to ensure best practices are followed, and that advertising, privacy, and corporate policies comply with federal and state laws. Concepts will be explained in plain English for the non-specialist and illustrated with real-life examples.

Don DennisPresenter: Don Dennis, Esq. is a member of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association.  Don’s practice is concentrated on sophisticated intellectual property and emerging social media issues.  Mr. Dennis received his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law and graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  Mr. Dennis is admitted to practice in California and Washington, D.C.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
