Entertainment & The Law: The Stairway Into a Blurry 2017

With Mark Pearson, Esq., Ben Shaw, Esq., Keith Cooper, Esq. ...and more!

Are you confused by the "Blurred Lines" of copyright law? Do you find yourself wishing someone could explain these complex cases in plain English? Join our panel of lawyers and industry insiders for a lively and entertaining discussion on the lawsuits that have already impacted the entertainment industry this year. We will break down the Stairway to Heaven settlement, look into another Deadmau5 trademark dispute and learn why you have to "get it in writing" when it comes to collaborations.  This panel is designed to engage both lawyers and non-lawyers alike, using recent legal cases as a springboard for discussion of themes that effect everyone in the biz.
