Filmmakers and writers of all kinds are routinely asked to sign contracts -- such as option agreements, writing agreements, production agreements, licensing agreements, and distribution agreements -- that carve up their copyrights and determine where, how and by whom their works can be exploited. Our speaker(s) will examine these kinds of agreements so that filmmakers and writers understand the key concepts and their ramifications, as well as points to consider in negotiations.
