Optional Mid-rally Event: Enjoy the Sunday Buffet at Shawnee State Park Lodge Restaurant; pay on your own.

This will be a grand opportunity to enjoy Southern Ohio’s autumn foliage in splendid color. You will tour the hills & dales, foothills, and natural countryside on paved, well-marked roads. The route will pass through idyllic country villages on the way.  Expect to experience frequent scenic vistas, natural forests, beautiful Amish farms, historic covered bridges, horse-drawn buggies, and old-time farm markets on the way.

The route will be very interesting and truly challenging for the participants, having many curvy, twisty roads with frequent elevation changes as it winds through the sparsely populated rural countryside and the spectacular Shawnee State Forest region. There will be two separate driving groups. It is designed for “Casual and Relaxed” Touring Drivers to leisurely appreciate the fall scenery, or it can offer unique driving opportunities for “Enthusiastic” Sport Drivers who relish in excitement and personal satisfaction when piloting a special vehicle at a brisk pace.

Drivers will meet east of Cincinnati to sign in before 9:00 a.m. at East Fork State Park near Amelia. First vehicles will initiate the route at 9:30 a.m. There’s a planned rest stop during our drive through the Shawnee Forest where you can enjoy an available Sunday Buffet at the rustic Shawnee State Park Lodge Restaurant ($22 per person). The route will then continue through pastoral Amish Country to the final destination on Route 32 near Sardinia, OH where it will conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m.

• All vehicles are welcome and we encourage everyone to bring along a passenger!


• Address of the start point will be emailed to you prior to the event. 


• Directions will be distributed prior to the event. 


• Vehicles will be separated into "Enthusiastic" and "Leisurely" groups for your driving pleasure!
