Chili Cookoff 2018

What's NXT, the Hagerstown Suns and Breast Cancer Awareness--Cumberland Valley, Inc. are proud to announce the 2018 Chili Cook-off featuring The Kelly Bell Band out of Baltimore, MD. 

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Awareness of Cumberland Valley. In addition to the cook-off, there will be activities throughout the day, including a vendor fair, kids zone, door prizes and a grand prize raffle from Breast Cancer Awareness.

Come sample and vote on the best chili & BBQ in the area, shop local arts and craft vendors, enjoy live music and the kids' zone while supporting BCA-CV. 

Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the gate for adults; $5 for kids age 4 to 12. Kids 3 and under are admitted free.

What's NXT and Breast Cancer Awareness--Cumberland Valley, Inc. would like to extend a SPECIAL FREE admission offer to any breast cancer survivor and half-price tickets to their family members. To receive a voucher for entry into the event, email us at events@herald-mail.com. We want to offer a small show of recognition of them as survivors and acknowledging their families as supporters.

COOKS: Whatever you call chili, we call chili. We need teams to cook their favorite chili recipe. Individual teams can have 4 people, corporate teams can have 6 people. All cooks must be 18 and older. 

Awards will be given in three categories: Best Overall Chili, the “People’s Choice” Chili and Best Booth Display. The “Best Overall Chili” winner will receive $1,000 cash( Blind Judgeing) second place winning $500 ( People's Choice) and third place winning $250. Best Booth Display ( Judgeing by What's NXT)
