Carolien spends her life wishing for more, but afraid. She lives in a small apartment with her cat, Wessex who offers his advice even though Carolien can't hear. Things change when a stranger returns a lost book, which causes Carolien to re-evaluate her life and her future.

Carolien and Wessex received Honourable Mention at the 2017 Foothills Region One Act Play Festival.
