Event Description

All visitors including children and members need a ticket to enter.



  • Visitors will select a specific entrance and date.

  • First entry of each day is at 10 a.m. and last entry is at 2:30 p.m. The Garden closes at 3:30 p.m.

  • Member, Corporate Member, and Affiliated Organization ticketholders must present valid ID with their free ticket on entry.

  • Same-day tickets may be obtained at Garden admission booths.

  • All visitors aged 12 and older are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter indoor areas, except for restrooms. All guests over age 2 must wear face coverings indoors. This includes the Garden Shop and Conservatory.

  • Visitors who are not fully vaccinated must wear face coverings everywhere on Garden premises.

  • We do not offer refunds. Tickets may be exchanged in advance for another date or time.


Some areas of the Garden may be inaccessible while Lightscape is installed. Accordingly, daytime admission is pay-what-you-wish. Please support Brooklyn Botanic Garden by paying what you can.

  • Students (12+ with ID): $12

  • Seniors (65+ with ID): $12

  • Children under 12 attending with an adult: Free


Community Tickets
A portion of each day’s tickets are available free of charge to those who need them. Teachers: Schedule school group visits at bbg.org/teachers.

Member Tickets
BBG members may reserve a flexible BBG Member All-Day Entry ticket that can be used at any gate. Each member, child, and guest needs their own ticket to gain entry to the Garden.



  • BBG members: Use Membership Login (above) to unlock ticket options. Your username is your main membership email. Select date, then click "Get Tickets»" to see your options.

  • New members: Purchase a bundle offer to join today and receive free tickets.

  • Academic & Library members: Reserve an “Affiliated Organization” ticket and show valid ID with your ticket at the gate. Corporate members: See below.


Affiliated Organization Tickets
To confirm if your organization receives free tickets and the number of guests allowed, please visit bbg.org/affiliates. Please note: If you reserve more tickets than your organization is allowed, extra tickets will be charged full admission upon entry.


Corporate Member Tickets
Current employees of corporate members are admitted with 1 guest during public hours. Employees of Cumberland Packing Corp. may bring up to 3 guests; National Grid, up to 4 guests; Con Edison, Orange & Rockland Utilities, and Stavros Niarchos Foundation, up to 5 guests.   • 2/3 to Eastern Parkway—Brooklyn Museum for 150 Eastern Parkway and 990 Washington Avenue entrances

  • B/Q/S to Prospect Park for 455 Flatbush Avenue entrance (no B train on weekends)

  • 4/5 to Franklin Avenue (no elevator) for 990 Washington Avenue and 150 Eastern Parkway entrances


All visitors must present ticket for entrance. Members and affiliates with free tickets must also show proof of eligibility. Children under 12 accompanied by ticketholding adult must have a free Child ticket. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
