Event Description

Meet your favorite Broadway stars at BroadwayCon!

For BroadwayCon 2022, we’ve reimagined our autograph and photograph experiences! Select special guests and casts will be participating in autograph and photograph experiences and all tickets will include a donation to a charitable organization that supports the theatre community.

What is BroadwayCon?

BroadwayCon is a three-day event in New York City, where theatre lovers can come together, meet their favorite Broadway stars, and celebrate some of Broadway’s newest and most exciting shows. With compelling panels and programming, singalong sessions and activities, and opportunities for photos with stars, BroadwayCon is the ultimate place to experience the magic of the theatre community. Just you wait!

BroadwayCon 2022 will take place July 8-10, 2022 at the New Yorker Hotel and Manhattan Center.

Will I need to wear a mask during my photo session?

For the safety of our special guests, attendees, and staff, masks are required during all BroadwayCon programming, including photo sessions, at this time.

Will you provide the item for the guest to sign or should I bring an item?

BroadwayCon will not provide headshots or other items for you to have signed so we suggest you bring something. The BroadwayCon Marketplace will also have many items for sale that you may wish to have signed by our special guests. However, we will supply the sharpies (black or silver ink only, please plan your item accordingly)!

May parents and children wait in line together for autograph and photograph sessions, even if they do not both have a ticket?

Attendees under the age of 18 may bring one adult with them through the autograph or photograph line. However, for autograph sessions only one person may go up to the signing table and the one item per ticket rule still applies. For all photograph sessions, a ticket is good for one photo with up to two people, we ask that only one parent or guardian who will not be included in the photo wait in line with groups of attendees under the age of 18. Medical aides are permitted to accompany the attendee in all circumstances.

How many people can be in each photo?

Each ticket to a photograph session is good for one photo. Up to two people may be in each photo. Please note that this is a change from previous years! If you plan to bring a friend, ONE person must have a ticket to the session. Of course, if you bring a friend to the photobooth, you will not receive an individual photo.

How do I receive my photo?

Within 14 days after BroadwayCon, we will email you a link to a website where you will be able to download your photograph. We will not be printing photos at BroadwayCon.

I have a Platinum Pass for BroadwayCon. What do I do?

Platinum Pass holders are guaranteed front-of-line access at ALL autograph and photograph sessions, but you still must have a ticket for sessions you would like to participate in. Prior to the event, you should have received an email from your Concierge with a coupon code to use during checkout. While you may bring friends with you to be in your photo, the one-item per guest rule does apply and you will only be allowed through each line one time. You may not use your Platinum Pass to grant access to a session for a friend. Any questions regarding the autograph and photograph process should be directed to your BroadwayCon Concierge (concierge@broadwaycon.com).

I have a Gold Pass for BroadwayCon. What do I do?

Every Gold Pass holder is guaranteed their choice of 3 autographs or photographs. Prior to the event, you should have received an email from your Concierge with a coupon code to use during checkout. Please follow the instructions in the email from your BroadwayCon Concierge to select your sessions. If you did not receive this email, you can reach the BroadwayCon Concierge by emailing concierge@broadwaycon.com. If you are interested in additional autographs and photos, then you will need to purchase these separately.

When should I line up?

Attendees who have a ticket to the autograph or photograph session may line up in the Autograph and Photograph Area no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. There is no need to line up early and lines that begin earlier will not be honored. Everyone who receives a ticket via lottery will be granted access to the appropriate session. However, it is recommended that you line up closer to the beginning of the autograph session rather than the end. You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled end of the session to be allowed access.

Will I be able to give a gift to the guest?

All gifts should be given to the BroadwayCon staff before you go up to meet the special guest. We will give them their collection of gifts after their session. Please do not bring food items as a gift, as these cannot be accepted.
