In conjunction with the Border Cantos | Sonic Border
exhibition, which focuses on the Mexican-American
border, we have partnered with Chef Jesus Martinez
from La Palapa and the Latino Community Center of
Pittsburgh to bring you a unique culinary experience
highlighting dishes from Central and South American
countries.
This event will take place in-person at the Museum.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATES
The safety of our staff and community is paramount. Now that Westmoreland County has a high transmission of COVID-19, we are requiring that when checking in guests of this event present their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card that indicates at least one dose of vaccine received as masking for the duration of the event is not possible. Additionally, attendees will be required to wear a mask/face covering upon entering the Museum and while being seated.
All staff that are working the event, both Museum and outside contractors, will be wearing masks for the duration of the event. Although we have taken enhanced health and safety measures, attending a large, indoor event will increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases regardless of vaccination status. The Westmoreland Museum of American Art cannot guarantee that event attendees will not become infected with COVID-19 and/or could spread COVID-19. By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
