A brand new stand-up showcase featuring comics performing brand new material that will be recorded for TikTok! You'll get a chance to see some cutting edge comedy before it "blows up" online. Featuring Anthony Mayo, Marcus Cox, Andreas O'Rourke, and LocNoJoke.


About the comedians: 


Joey Purse (AllDef): As an innocent looking young man along with his laid back, nonchalant demeanor, Joey will surprise you with his comedic stylings. His goofy, clever and mischievous like wits has been featured on social media platforms such as AllDef and Gamer. He has also has been heard at multiple clubs in the country stretching from Dangerfields Comedy Club in New York City to the Lincoln Lodge Comedy Theater in Chicago. His innocent charm has the ability to make anyone smile.

 

Anthony Mayo (Michael Coylar morning show) As nurse by day and a rising comedy talent by night, Anthony’s quick wit and expert timing have made him a force to be reckoned with on the local Cleveland comedy scene. Winner of multiple Comedy Competitions, Anthony has worked in clubs like the Cleveland Improv, Pickwick and Frolic/ Hilarities,  Funnystop Comedy Club, and the famous Comic Strip Live. Also nominated for Rookie of the year and Best comedian at the Cleveland Comedy Awards. Along with that, has had multiple appearances on the Michael Colyar morning show

 

Marcus Cox - Marcus Cox has been a feature, host and headliner at comedy venues throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Marcus has appeared in many Comedy Festivals in Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Memphis, St. Augustine and Baltimore. Marcus has won many competitions in the tri-state area and has appeared at comedy clubs such as: Pittsburgh Improv (PA), FunnyStop Comedy Club (OH), The Lincoln Lodge (IL) and is a regular at Arcade Comedy Theater (PA). Marcus brings his smooth, charismatic, and likebale personality on stage, Marcus Cox is one that you want to catch at a show near you.

 

Andreas O’Rourke (The Boonies on Amazon Prime) Andreas O'Rourke is a comedian based in Pittsburgh. He has performed in many venues across the tri state area and is a regular host and feature act. Andreas has performed at the Pittsburgh improv, the Lincoln lodge in Chicago, and zanies in Chicago. Andreas brings his authentic self to the stage and loves every second he gets to perform

 

(Special guest) LocNoJoke Pittsburgh based comic and smoked out n shot out co host Locnojoke brings a unique raw style to comedy he’s been hitting stages since 2006 and in 2019 placed 3rd in The Improv's King of Spring competition

 

This programming is part of Arcade Comedy Theater's Black History Month Celebration. Throughout this entire month, we hope to inspire joy and nurture community-building by connecting artists and audiences through comedy. Our programming calendar will be centering Black voices in comedy through a series of stand-up, storytelling, and improv comedy shows.
