Learn how to print using traditional Indian carved wood blocks to create your own unique designs! Beginning with a brief history on wood block printing traditions in India and China, master visiting artist Sunaina Bhalla will share a demonstration of different methods of blockprinting and invite you to practice on paper. With over 100 motifs to choose from, you’ll then create your own printed fabric and tote bag.

All materials are included in the price of the class. An assortment of hand carved wood blocks will be available for purchase with prices ranging from $5–20.
