Black Nativity

Langston Hughes' "Black Nativity" is a gospel song play and contemporary re-telling of the birth of Christ! This uplifting two act play is full of familiar Christmas songs as well as old time gospel music. The first act is the nativity story set on a present day city street. The second act is set in a church service that unapologetically exudes joy and Praise.

Running time is approximately 2 hours including a 15 minute intermission. This is a Christmas experience that will be enjoyed by the entire family!
