Bird Watching and Bird House Making Workshop

Celebrate Migratory Bird Day at the Elizabethan Gardens! The theme for 2024 is "Protect Insects, Protect Birds." Join us on a bird walk through the Gardens to learn about the many birds that frequent our beautiful garden and the insects that support them. After the walk, you can make a bird house to take home or give to a loved one for Mother's Day. 

The Gardens is part of the North Carolina Birding Trail. You can find our site listed on the website at https://www.ncbirdingtrail.org/sites/. 

Program is approximately 45-minutes to one hour long and all supplies are provided by the Gardens. There is limited capacity in the program. Program cost does not include admission. $5.00 for not-yet-members and $4.50 for members. Members contact the Programs Manager at ProgramsManager@elizabethangardens.org to register.
