Event Description

Frick Environmental Center hosts a quarterly community potluck dinner - join us! After the potluck, all are welcome to stay for a discussion of the book "Being A Beast" by Charles A. Foster as part of the Biophilia Book Club.

If you're not sure how the process works, here are some guidelines:
*You are absolutely welcome to come even if you don't bring food!
*Bring a friend!
*Please bring a dish to share; a good rule of thumb is try to bring enough food for 6 people.
*Please label your dish with the ingredients in it so people with food sensitivities can participate.
*We will have dishes, but if you are able, bring your own.

About the book: "Being a Beast" by Charles A. Foster is a lyrical, joyful, and completely radical look at the life of animals -- human and other. "Being a Beast" mingles neuroscience and psychology, nature writing and memoir to cross the boundaries separating the species.
