Event Description
Bicentennial Blues

How would you feel if you threw a party and nobody came? Exactly. Washington Irving was robbed!

2020 marked the 200th anniversary of the publication in America of his famous short story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Great things were planned. Nothing happened, thanks to Covid-19. What's a man to do? Rise from the grave to get his due, of course! Help Irving beat the Bicentennial Blues!

Join the delightfully droll author as he comes back to life to reminisce about his fabulous adventures and amazing career. This evening talk amongst the tombstones will leave you amused and appreciative of just how extraordinary Washington Irving was.

Irving was the life of the party before he went six feet under. Don't miss this chance to meet him now and help him get over the Bicentennial Blues!
