Santa Monica Playhouse has been a cultural treasure in the seaside community for 61 years. Now, the Playhouse is giving love back with its Sixth Annual Binge Free Festival (BFF), a full month of free performances, workshops, readings, music and poetry in Santa Monica’s ONLY fringe festival. What’s on today?
Island Girl: A Rescue Mission is a personal and fantastical story about having and losing faith. Join Sprite Named Spot, a divinity sprite who is assigned on a mission to rescue the faith of a young woman from Hawaii. Sprite Named Spot weaves through moments of spiritual insight for this young woman, and eventually to the life-changing crisis which ultimately threatens her faith.
